The sudden rise of a brook trout, the solid strike of a pike, the smell of wood smoke and coffee. The forests are awe inspiring especially in fall when they erupt in spectacular colors. Winter trails can can be humbling in their deafening silence as you view the white land locked tight as a drum.
Deer move like shadows through the trees. Partridge explode beneath your feet. An Eagle circles high overhead. The wind comes clean and fresh across the expanse of the "Big Lake." It sighs contentedly through the majestic pines. Come on Along, enjoy the land the way it was created. All this is a part of Big Bay and the Huron Mountains.
